At Jones Dental Clinic you can expect the best out of our staff.  We can provide you an examination using Digital X-Ray technology and explain what is going on in laymen terms so that you can understand exactly what we are saying.  

Dr. Lamar Jones has 30+ years of dental experience in private practice in Petal, MS  39465.  He enjoys serving his patients in General Dentistry

Dr. Jones graduated with his dental degree Doctor of Dental Surgery, DDS, from Louisiana State University (LSU), New Orleans.  His undergraduate degree was from University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) with a bachelor of Arts in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology.  He attended public school is Moselle, MS and graduated from South Jones High School in Ellisville, MS and attended Jones County Junior College.

Dr. Lamar Jones has served in Dental Mission work in Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, in district III, the Mississippi Dental Association, and the South Mississippi Dental Society.  Dr. Jones also attends Petal United Methodist Church.

Dr. C. Lamar Jones is married to Laurel native, Rose Bruner Jones, a professor at the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg.  Rose servers part time as a chair-side dental assistant to Dr. Lamar Jones for emergencies.

They have 2 children, Joseph and Victoria, both who graduated from Petal High School.  Victoria is a sophomore at Ole Miss in Public Policy Leadership and Joseph is a law student at Ole Miss School of Law.

Dr. Lamar Jones has one golden Cat and two Saint Bernard dogs.  He resides in Petal in the home that was once lived in by Petal major league baseball players: Gerald and Hub Walker.  Both Walker boys starred in the major leagues during the 1930s-1940s. 

Marie Draughn Senften is the smiling face you interact with when you walk into Dr. Jones Dental Office.  She also serves as a chair-side dental assistant on occasions. Marie graduated from Runnelstown High School and Jones County Junior College and attended the University of Southern Mississippi.

Marie's primary function is to manage the front office, make appointments, file insurance, etc.  She has worked for Dr. Jones for approximately thirty years and truly enjoys working with different patients on a daily basis. 

She is married to Dale Senften and lives in Moselle, MS.  She has a handsome, grey-blue and white cat named Cuddles.  Her hobbies include machine embroidery, sewing, cooking, and reading, going to church, shopping, and playing the piano and organ (most importantly-mowing the lawn).  She is an active member of Moselle Memorial Baptist Church where she works with the Awana and music programs. 

Patricia Folks is a chair-side dental assistant to Dr. Jones.  She is married to Terry Folks, and resides in Moselle.  She graduated from South Jones High School and attended Jones County Junior College. They have 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and two furry children that she enjoys going home too.

She is a member of Moselle United Methodist Church (PRAISE GOD).  She enjoys gardening, birds, and dogs.  She loves fresh vegetables, but especially flowers such as the daylily.  

She is a member of the Hattiesburg Area Daylily Society where she has learned a lot about growing these beautiful flowers.  Her garden would not be complete without the added jewelry of butterflies and birds.  She belongs to the Hattiesburg Audubon Society and enjoys their informative speakers and slide shows of birds.  She is also a member of Magnolia Coon and Squirrel Association.  Her furry children, Buster and Jack, share her with the squirrel dogs she raises and trains.
